~Medieval tunes conjured beside the court's candlelight!~

"Upon entering King Vallendale's court as 'Court Librarian', Kyvon was warned of his new liege's quarrels with the Tungkan Tribes of the Horrid North. None prepared him for his true love's acts of adultery, committed by none other than the King's son himself. Despite his unrefutably tragic experiences during the court's high life, Kyvon continued his work in solace. As the Lone Sentinel came and went, there was little time for Kyvon to find happiness in his journey, but sharing stories beside the fire kept spirits high, if only for a short while. Saint Ainsley was first to bring news of the Tungkan's war preparations, forcing the King to raise his levies and manage the protection of his realm. Manage, he did not. Kyvon slowly walked from the crumbling court, glancing back only once to see his love crying in the high window that led to her chambers. It had been raining, but he did not notice until his tears ceased to exist. "
